Wandlehenalm – our farm's own alpine hut in Grossarl, Salzburger Land

Gentle hike to the Alpine hut overnight accommodation possible

Our cows spend the summer up on the idyllic mountain pasture. Here they can enjoy the delicate grasses and tasty alpine flowers. Yet our guests feel right at home here too: be sure to add an alpine day to your holiday activities and walk gently up to the hut in around 40 minutes from our Farm. Twice a day we drive up to milk the cows – you're welcome to join us. The alpine hut is not open to the public, but our guests are allowed to stay overnight there. In winter you can enjoy a scenic snowshoe hike up to the Wandlehenalm.

An unforgettable experience for all ages is an overnight stay in our alpine hut. Everything's really rustic here: you sleep in a mattress domitory, cook on a traditonal wood-burning stove... Get back to nature here at the Wandlehenalm – it's just great!
